The best way to get rid of trojans is using a best anti-spyware to protect your computer.Anti-Virus is not good at removing trojans,spywares and adwares.

You can download and scan your computer for free.
Many antivirus and antispyware scanners can detect and remove trojans.

If you know the name of the trojan, I suggest you do a search on google for a removal tool -- this would be the easiest and safest way to remove it.

If no removal tool in available, then install ONE antivirus program and 2-3 antispyware programs and do a full scan.

I recommend Avira AntiVir PE Classic which is extremely good at detecting and removing trojans, alongside SUPERAntiSpyware, AVG Anti-Spyware and A-Squared free.

All the above programs are free and should remove most trojans. You might need to run these programs in safe mode if it is a difficult one to remove.
