i remove the virus, uninstall party poker softwareand my computer is free of the virus. the virus reappears when i install party poker software. party poker has been unable to resolve this. anybody have any permanent solutions to making sure this virus does not attach?

The trojan will send you computer information to other computers. To stop the trojan from active you need to stop the port that are open to listen. You can do that by using the firewall. The trojan still in your pc, but that is the only way you can install the program without harm your computer and secure your information.
Yea that happened to me too, but that virus really doesnt do anything to ur computer i mean i have been playing for years and it works just fine. You can try to use a firewall if u want but im not sure if that helps.
My AVG antivirus detects it, and heals the files, but it keeps coming back. Is there another way to remove it? Thanks you!
Yes trend or you could go to symantec (Norton) and i know the scan is free on there site.
Also turn system restore off and turn it back on again cause it will hide in there. Hope this helps.
Go to the Trend Micro site and have a free scan. It should detect the virus and delete it for you. I think its free for the first scan or 2 then it charges you for the privilege. I paid up for it and it works very well.

Turn OFF your sys restore points, del. file(could be in more plases then you realize, cross your fingers %26 reboot then turn ON sys. restore again. Most headaches back themselfs up in restore points.
