Can I get a virus/ trojan through USB flash drives?

Yes.

A virus can even be passed through wireless. That's because the computer faithfully transmits any type of data, viruses included, no matter what type of connection you use.

Yes. Any medium used to transmit data into your computer can transmit a virus--since that's all a virus is, is data. This includes: CDs, DVDs, floppy (3.5" %26 5 1/2") disks, Internet (wired or wirelessly accessed), USB flash drives, memory cards/sticks. I'm sure I've overlooked something, but the basic rule applies--if there's something that comes into your PC, and it transmits data, it can transmit a virus.

yes, viruses can pass throut your usb,cd drive, dvd drive and ur wireless connection.
Yes, specially if the autorun.inf type was in it causing to execute automatically when plugin.

Like in setup CD's when you insert, it automatically runs.
Dun, put a condom over the usb before you insert into the usb port. LOL joke joke. smile..:)
yes if you upload something to a flash drive and it has a virus, it will give your computer that virus/trojan. then when you plug it into a different computer it will give that computer the virus/trojan and so on and so forth. once the flash drive gets the virous, than think of the flash drive as a virous, dont use it anymore and if it has valualble stuff on it send it to a professional to take the virus out. There are flash drives that have built in virus controll stuff and will detect it and tell you, and you can just not upload it.

This happens often but dont worry just dont download a bunch of stuff and youll be safe.

Hope this helps
