Do you have AOL? You can use the AOL spyware cleaner if you do
If it's a Trojan, then your AV software may not be able to correctly uninstally it. Some Trojans are pretty nasty and have multiple ways to reinstall themselves. Start with an internet search on whatever information you have that indicates it's a Trojan (like if it redirects your web browser or opens the browser to a certain site, you can search for that site). DriveCleaner is a particular one that I remember that caused such a problem. Sometimes the AV companies or other third parties make removal tools specifically for these nasty ones. Just make sure you get it from a reputable source, because it could be ad-ware, spy-ware, or a virus itself.
All the antivirus "free" trials do little to disinfect your PC; all they do is to identify the threats and use that to scare you into buygin their full priced package.
